LUCKNOW Congress public general clerk Priyanka Gandhi Vadra said on Friday that she might make her electoral debut by querying in the UP assembly choices, but she should n’t be seen as the party’s seeker for the CM’s post.
She told news channel NDTV that querying the UP choices has been under consideration and internal conversations are on. “ When there’s a agreement, we will let you know,” said Priyanka, the Congress’s in- charge for UP since 2019 At a press conference to launch the party’s youth fiat before in the day, she said she was the party’s face in UP. “ Are you seeing any other faces from Congress? Also? Dikh toh raha hai na sab jagah mera chehra (My face can be seen everyplace),” she said in response to the question if she was the CM face Priyanka, still, told NDTV latterly that her reflections were “ lingo-in- impertinence” because every alternate question she was asked was about this. “ Between me, UPCC principal Ajay Lalloo and the CLP leader (Aradhna Mishra), we’re leading the sweats in UP. But it’s doubtful that we’re officially going to advertise this face or that face,” she said. “ I’m the ( party) general clerk of Uttar Pradesh. And the responsibility is mine, and I ’m dealing with it.”
She also gestured Congress’s amenability to anypost-poll alliance in case of a bowed assembly, but with acondition.However, a decision will be taken consequently, “ If similar circumstances arise. But if we do, we’d clearly want our docket for the youth and women, especially women, to be fulfilled if we were going to be part of any similar division,” Priyankasaid.Congress under her leadership in UP has been reaching out to the women electorate and has also decided to address women on 40 of seats the party contests in this time’s pates.
