New Delhi: China and India are neighbors and wise for them to have good relations, Chinese National Defense Minister Wei Fenghe said Sunday, while blaming New Delhi for the military deadlock in Ladakh.
Overcoming the fifth plenary session of the Shangri-LA 2022 dialogue in Singapore, Fenghe-who is also a member of the State Council-said as a response to the question of clashes in Galwan: “China and India are neighbors. Maintaining a good relationship meets the interests of the two countries and that is what we are doing.
“But in friction along the border area, the benefits of this problem are clear. I personally experienced the beginning and end of friction as Minister of Defense. We have found many weapons owned by the Indian side. They also sent people to the China side in the region. “General Fenghe went further to say that India and China had held 15 rounds of negotiations at the level of the Corps Commander and both parties “worked for peace” in the region.
Dismantling the Chinese philosophy for the regional order, General Fenghe said, “Our world faces many crises that are rarely seen in history, the way forward is to uphold and practice multilateralism. Peace and development must be a common goal of humanity. “In his speech, Fenghe also talked about the establishment of China about war in Ukraine and Beijing’s claims about Taiwan.
