Delhi: Governor Creens Arif Mohammed Khan on Monday condemned Qatar’s request for public apologies for the alleged statement of insulting the Prophet Mohammad by a deferred BJP leader called him ‘not important.’ The Governor will further emphasize the need to pay attention to the Prime Minister and the Head of the Head of RSS to ‘strengthen the inclusive.’
Governor, Arif Mohammed Khan when talking to reporters in Delhi said that ‘people are entitled to their opinions.’ “People are entitled to their opinions. How is that? That (a request for an apology) is not important. India cannot bother about such a small reaction,” Arif Mohammed Khan said.
Arif Mohammed Khan also said that what was said by the BJP leader who was deferred about the Prophet Muhammated was likely to be ‘in his heat in front of the TV.’ “These things are not very important,” he added.
The Governor of Kerala further said that ‘Indian culture does not consider anyone else.’ “Our tradition is not tolerance, but respect and acceptance for all traditions. We respect and we accept all traditions as true. Indian culture does not consider anyone as someone else,” said the Governor.”We must pay more attention to what the Prime Minister said repeatedly and what the Head of RSS said was repeatedly that we want our inclusive tradition to be strengthened. Nothing is excluded. That is our cultural heritage. We need to strengthen it,” he added.
Sharma’s nupur was suspended from the main party membership on Sunday after his alleged statement to incite violence in Kanpur and invited strong criticism.In particular, UAE, Qatar, Indonesia, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain, Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan condemned the controversial comments made during the TV debate last week.On Sunday, Qatar called an Indian envoy for the comments of the BJP leader who was deferred and demanded a ‘public apology’ from the Indian government.Qatari State Minister for Foreign Affairs Soltan bin Saad al-Muraikhi said that allowing ‘Islamophobic comments’ like that to continue without punishment, is a’ great danger ‘for the protection of human rights and can cause’ prejudice and marginalization ‘further’, which which will create a cycle of violence and hatred.
