KYIV: US First Lady Jill Biden traveled without notice to Ukraine on Sunday to show support for her people in the middle of the Russian invasion, visiting schools that function as a temporary shelter and meet with the First Lady of Ukraine, Olena Zelenska.”I think it is important to show the Ukraine people that this war must stop and this war is brutal and that the United States stands with the people of Ukraine,” said Biden, according to a report by the Washington Post Reporter shared with other media organizations.
This school serves as a shelter for 163 neglected Ukrains, including 47 children, the report said.Biden, who has been traveling in neighboring Slovakia, gave flowers to Zelenska, which made its first public performance since the Russian invasion began on February 24, according to a US official.
