CONVID -19 : University of Ibadan, OAU other Suspend Academic Activities

In compliance to curtail the spread of the dreaded Corona Virus, the Management of the University of Ibadan, the Obafemi Awolowo University and the Nigerian Law school has suspended all academic activities within the school.
This complies with the directive of the Federal Ministry of Education shutting down all school in Nigeria due to the pandemic.
The management of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, has suspended all the university's activity till further notice.
This suspended was announced by the School Public relation officer, Abiodun Olarewaju in a release made available to newsmen.
The management directs all students of the university to proceed on break, and those in the university’s halls of residence have been asked to vacate their hostels.
Students are expected to vacate the school lastest Monday while parents are advised to ensure compliance.
The University of Ibadan also announced that the school will be closed till further notice in a Bulletin signed by the Registrar, Mrs Olubunmi Faluyo, asks students to vacate the school premises from March 20.
In the other hand, the Nigerian Law school, Abuja suspended academic activities for four weeks.
This is contained in a circular signed by the school's council Secretary, Mrs Max-Uba.
“Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the need to take proactive steps, the Nigerian Law School will suspend academic activities with effect from Monday, March 23rd, 2020 for a period of four weeks,” She stated.
